To ensure power reliability and availability at the Tiger Brands production facilities in Boksburg, Johannesburg and Hennenman, Free State, new dedicated substations were constructed, complete with synchronised diesel generators, step-up transformers and medium voltage switchgear to supply backup power to the entire facility. MWKE was appointed as the professional electrical engineering consultant for services related to the medium voltage and generator designs and installations.
