Design and supply turn-key projects undertaken by MWKE. Appointed as the Principal Agent on the projects, MWKE was responsible for appointing and managing all sub-consultants and sub-contractors. The MTN facility in Randburg required additional power to cater for the ever-increasing electrical demand due to the service provider’s expanding network. The project comprised of an upgrade of the transformer, medium voltage switchgear and cabling, generators, complete fuel system, main low voltage panel, smoke detection, fire suppression, BMS and related building works. This mission critical project was completed with utmost care and planning, in record time, whilst minimising risk to the live data centre and network.
